Requirements
- Collegial Diploma (DEC) in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
- Minimum of one (1) year of acute care experience
- Self-motivated, dynamic, and a strong team player
- Current license and membership in good standing with the OIIQ
- Bilingual in French and English
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric experience is considered a significant asset
- Knowledge of ASPAN national standards is an asset
Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ health status and establish nursing therapeutic plans
- Implement care plans and nursing treatments
- Initiate and provide required nursing and medical care and treatments
- Prescribe laboratory tests, treatments, products, medications, and dressings in authorized practice areas and in accordance with regulations
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate educational activities for patients, families, and groups
- Participate in research activities related to health promotion and disease prevention
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient care
