Requirements

  • Collegial Diploma (DEC) in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
  • Minimum of one (1) year of acute care experience
  • Self-motivated, dynamic, and a strong team player
  • Current license and membership in good standing with the OIIQ
  • Bilingual in French and English

Nice To Haves

  • Pediatric experience is considered a significant asset
  • Knowledge of ASPAN national standards is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Assess patients’ health status and establish nursing therapeutic plans
  • Implement care plans and nursing treatments
  • Initiate and provide required nursing and medical care and treatments
  • Prescribe laboratory tests, treatments, products, medications, and dressings in authorized practice areas and in accordance with regulations
  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate educational activities for patients, families, and groups
  • Participate in research activities related to health promotion and disease prevention
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient care
