About The Position

We are seeking an Infirmary Receptionist for our residential program's Nursing Department. This dynamic role will be responsible for providing telephone and clerical support services as well as medication management. If certified, as a Medication Aide you would also be assisting with medications, check-in, storage, and collection of specimens. If not certified as a Medication Aide, we would cover the costs related to obtaining this certification.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-year clerical experience required
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent education

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Medication Aide preferred

Responsibilities

  • Greet internal/external guests and manage visitor sign in/out process
  • Answering nursing station phone, taking messages, making phone calls as needed
  • Ability to recognize emergency situations and implement appropriate emergency procedures as indicated
  • Demonstrate knowledge of infection control
  • Prepare for TLOA's with regard to medication
  • Assisting with medications, check-in, storage, and collection of specimens (if certified as a Medication Aide)
