About The Position
Southern California Permanente Medical Group (SCPMG) is seeking an Infectious Diseases Physician for their Antelope Valley locations. This role involves providing exceptional patient care, focusing on consultations and follow-ups for a range of diagnoses including sepsis, Vent associated pneumonia, complicated UTIs, PJIs, osteomyelitis, HIV, HIV PrEP, and wound infections. The position offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, with opportunities for partnership within SCPMG after a qualifying period of employment. Physicians will work at Antelope Valley Medical Center for in-patient rounds and consults, KP MOB- 615 West Ave L for out-patient clinic, and occasionally at Palmdale Regional Medical Center for in-patient consults/follow-ups. The Antelope Valley offers a desirable lifestyle with good schools, affordable housing, and access to nature, while being a reasonable commute from other parts of Los Angeles.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Infectious Diseases.
- Must pass a background check/drug screen.
- Qualified applicants with arrest and/or conviction records will be considered in a manner consistent with Federal, state and local laws.

Responsibilities
- Conduct in-patient hospital rounds and consults at Antelope Valley Medical Center.
- Provide out-patient clinic services at KP MOB- 615 West Ave L.
- Perform in-patient consults and follow-ups at Palmdale Regional Medical Center (rarely).
- Manage diagnoses including sepsis, Vent associated pneumonia, complicated UTIs, PJIs, osteomyelitis, HIV, HIV PrEP, and wound infections.
- Focus on providing exceptional patient care.
