Infectious Disease Physician - Providence, RI
About The Position
The National Wound Physician Group is seeking an Infectious Disease Physician to provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. This role offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, and flexibility with no nights, no call, and no weekend clinical responsibilities. Physicians will become experts in wound management, learning from highly qualified wound-certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors, and utilizing cutting-edge clinical technologies. The practice involves weekly wound rounds at facilities within a 40-60 mile radius, treating approximately 20-30 patients per day. Clinical documentation is done in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. Paid training and a 6-month wound care fellowship are provided during onboarding.
Requirements
- Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice
- Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
- Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice
- Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday
