National Wound Physician Group is seeking an Infectious Disease Physician for a role focused on wound management in post-acute care settings. Physicians provide bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states. The group offers comprehensive physician-level wound management training and a wound fellowship to ensure clinical excellence. Physicians are W2 employees, earning an average of $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week, with part-time opportunities available. The role emphasizes clinical satisfaction, autonomy, flexibility, and work-life balance, with no nights, no call, and no weekend clinical responsibilities. Physicians utilize cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities, with clinical documentation done in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.

Requirements

Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice
Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice
Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday

Responsibilities

Provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings (Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals).
Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
Visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients per day.
Utilize cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities.
Perform clinical documentation in real-time during clinical rounds using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.
