About The Position
We are seeking a compassionate nursing professional with a passion for clinical excellence, staff development, and infection prevention to join our dedicated team as an Infection Preventionist/ Staff Development RN Nurse. In this role, your leadership will drive the highest standards of care at Highland Ridge Rehab Center. This is a full-time position in the Nursing Administration department.
Requirements
- Current RN license (VA)
- 2+ years in a Skilled Nursing Facility or Long-Term Care
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Nice To Haves
- Certification or experience in Infection Control & Staff Education preferred
Responsibilities
- Quality Assurance (QA): Monitor, audit, and enhance clinical systems to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Staff Development Coordinator (SDC): Plan, implement, and evaluate educational programs and onboarding for nursing staff.
- Infection Preventionist (IP): Lead infection control efforts, maintain compliance with CDC & CMS guidelines, and promote a safe environment.
