About The Position

The Infection Preventionist (IP) implements measures that will protect the
residents and staff in the community.  The IP is responsible for assessing the
education needs of the staff and coordinate programs based upon identified needs
and ensure State and Federal compliance.

Requirements

• Active Indiana RN license or ability to obtain Indiana license.
• The Nursing Home Infection Preventionist Training through the CDC (can be provided at this facility upon hire), or advanced training in infection prevention and control.
