About The Position

Columbia Academy Maple Lawn is seeking a Lead Infant/Toddler Teacher to join their team. This role involves developing and implementing age-appropriate curriculum, planning engaging activities to foster cognitive, social, and emotional development, and assessing student progress. Requirements

Minimum of High School Diploma or Equivalent
90hrs Infant/Toddler, ADA, 9hrs Communications and Breast feeding certifications
Minimum of one year of experience working with infants in a licensed childcare facility or 30 college credits
Demonstrated knowledge of various stages of social, emotional and intellectual development
Commitment to ongoing professional development
Physical ability to stand, bend, squat, jump, dance, walk, run, reach carry, lift 50 lbs.
Strong communication skills, including the ability to interact with parents and other staff members is required.
The ability to be patient, collaborative, creative, and passionate about Early Childhood education is essential for this role.

Associates or bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Development or related field (preferred)
