Infant & Toddler Lead Teacher- Full-Time, Full-Year
About The Position
Miami Valley Child Development Centers (MVCDC) is seeking an Early Head Start Lead Teacher to lead a classroom serving infants and toddlers ages 0–3 during the most critical years of development. In this role, you will create a safe, nurturing, and developmentally responsive environment that supports early learning and healthy attachment. You will implement curriculum aligned with Head Start standards, guide daily routines, and individualize care to meet each child’s unique needs. As the classroom leader, you will mentor support staff, model best practices in infant–toddler care, and build strong partnerships with families to promote growth at home and in the classroom. Requirements
- Experience in early childhood education, specifically with infants and toddlers.
- Knowledge of Head Start standards and curriculum implementation.
- Ability to create a safe and nurturing environment.
- Skills in individualizing care for young children.
- Experience mentoring support staff.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for family partnerships.
