About The Position
Growing Kids Learning Center is seeking a full-time Infant Teacher at its Ireland Road location in South Bend. The role involves creating and leading engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences for infants, maintaining a safe and organized classroom, supporting children’s growth and milestones, and building relationships with parents. The center offers support toward earning a CDA and provides a family-like environment focused on inclusivity, teamwork, and professional development. Growing Kids is family-owned, has operated since 1995, and serves children from six weeks through elementary age.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Collaborative and proactive attitude.
- Pass a background and fingerprinting screening, drug test, fitness-for-duty physical, and TB test.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of childcare experience is preferred.
