Infant Teacher
About The Position
We are looking to add a Full-time Infant Teacher to our team at Primrose School of South Elgin at 450 Briargate Dr. South Elgin, IL 60177. As an Infant Teacher at Primrose School of South Elgin, you’ll help care for little ones who range in age from six weeks to one year old. They are eager to learn about and explore their world, and through singing, dancing, and storytelling, you’ll provide a safe and loving environment that nurtures the social, emotional, cognitive, creative and physical development of each child. Spend your days building genuine relationships with each little one. Work with your seasoned co-teachers to implement the lesson plans from the research-informed Balanced Learning® curriculum. Maintain a well-kept classroom that encourages infants to create, explore and discover. It provides clear daily plans so you can focus your time in the classroom on forming connections with your babies—and spend your time outside of school focused on yourself. Requirements
- MUST have graduated from Early Childhood Education program from accredited college/university.
- Will consider CDA specializing in infant/toddlers.
- Experience: 1-2 years
- Must be over the age of 21
