Develop fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow Teachers. Care! Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the preschool children in your class. Call the shots! Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation, plus be an expert on all licensing guidelines and company standards. Communicate! Build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote achievement for the child and to support your center’s success.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years old.
  • Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
  • Ability to meet state requirements for education and additional center requirements.
  • Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
  • Hold a current early childhood professional credential level II or higher in version 3.0, as determined by the Colorado Department of Early Childhood.
  • A minimum of nine (9) months (1,365 hours) of verifiable experience in the care and supervision of infants and/or toddlers.
  • Completed one (1) three (3) semester credit hour course in infant/toddler development OR completed the Department-approved expanding quality in infant and toddler care training course.
