About The Position

The Post Closing Supervisor is a critical leader within the Doma Operations Enterprise Refinance team. This role is responsible for overseeing post-closing functions to ensure signed closing packages are received, reviewed, and delivered with exceptional accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. The Post-Closing Supervisor serves as a subject-matter expert, escalation point, and people leader, ensuring service-level agreements (SLAs), quality standards, and metrics are consistently met. This role is based in our Operations Hub in Arlington, TX.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of post-closing and/or recording experience
  • 2+ years of leadership experience
  • Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, metric-driven work environment
  • Have extreme attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Are comfortable working within company stated SLA’s.
  • Have excellent phone, email, and face-to-face communication skills
  • Able to quickly pick up how to use new tools and software
  • Own your ability to deliver excellent, error-free service throughout the post closing process.
  • Are comfortable with constant change and process improvement
  • Must be a local candidate with the expectation of working full time in our Arlington, TX office

Responsibilities

  • Directly supervise a team of PostClosing Associates
  • Perform people management responsibilities, including timecard approvals, performance management, coaching, and documentation
  • Conduct regular 1:1 meetings and provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and individualized support
  • Foster a positive, high engagement team environment that reflects the company’s cultural values
  • Oversee day-to-day postclosing operations, including workload distribution, productivity, and queue management
  • Monitor performance, workflows, and risk; proactively identify and address potential gaps or failures
  • Provide hands on support and coaching to educate and assist with resolution of complex files as needed, to ensure compliance, service continuity, and SLA adherence
  • Manage and resolve file level escalations, providing timely updates to appropriate leadership
  • Collaborate cross functionally with Escrow, Recording, Compliance, and Operations partners
  • Drive operational improvements based on data, performance trends, and team feedback
  • Support the adoption of new tools, workflows, and technologies
  • Lead through change and model adaptability in a fast paced environment
  • Participate in recruiting and hiring top level talent
  • Support onboarding and training of new hires
  • Champion accountability, engagement, and professional growth within the team
