About The Position

Austin Family Seeking Full-Time Infant Nanny! First-time Moms in Austin, TX is seeking an experienced, long-term Nanny to care for their baby arriving in November 2026, with a second child expected in March. This is a full-time, long-term role beginning around November 24, 2026. Flexibility around baby’s arrival is important. This is a loving, easygoing household looking for someone who brings genuinely good energy and becomes part of the family's rhythm long-term. They are open to candidates from out of state and are prepared to pay well above standard market rate to secure the right long-term fit. The schedule is mainly Monday through Friday, roughly 8 am to 6 pm, with occasional weekend flexibility for date nights or family events. The family currently has a night nurse in place through a 6-month contract covering overnights (7pm-7am), so this role is focused on daytime care. This is a live-out role while the family is based in Austin. The family spends July and August in Aspen each year, with a possible additional month in California, and the nanny would live in during those stretches. Comfort with extended travel and periodic live-in arrangements is essential. Passport is a bonus, not required for this role. The role includes all duties related to the baby's care, along with light household pickup and organization. The home includes a housekeeper who comes 4 days a week and two family assistants who are regularly present, so this role is focused on the baby and general tidiness rather than deep household management. Duties include all child-related duties and care. Comfort with the family's two golden retrievers is a must. Both parents are highly involved, one primarily home-based and one who works outside the home. Newborn care experience is essential, ideally with formal NCS training or background. The family is looking for a mature, highly experienced candidate, 10+ years preferred, with a strong, verifiable reference history. Given the extensive travel and live-in periods required, the ideal candidate should be flexible with their lifestyle. The family is open to relocation assistance for the right candidate. An NDA will be required. Tdap, MMR, and RSV vaccinations are preferred.

Requirements

Experienced, long-term Nanny
Newborn care experience is essential, ideally with formal NCS training or background
Mature, highly experienced candidate, 10+ years preferred
Strong, verifiable reference history
Comfort with extended travel and periodic live-in arrangements
Comfort with the family's two golden retrievers
Up to date First-Aid & CPR certification (willingness to renew as needed)
Ability to make a one-year commitment unless applying for a temporary position
5+ years of childcare experience in any field
Excellent work and personal references
U.S. Driver’s License
Competent swimmer (if and when required)
Non-smoker
Willingness to be live-scanned and registered with Trustline if you are CA resident

Willingness to complete our Stop the Silence training upon membership
