About The Position

A hard-working and friendly family is seeking a proactive, organized, and confident nanny with infant expertise to provide full-time care for their 1-month-old baby. The ideal candidate will enjoy taking ownership of their role, staying one step ahead, and being warm, playful, and comfortable engaging with the baby. This is a long-term position with guaranteed hours and overtime pay, offering a supportive environment for a trusted partner to join the family on their parenting journey. The family maintains a tidy home and has a Ragdoll cat. They value warmth, reliability, and humor, and appreciate someone who brings their own experience and ideas.

Requirements

  • 2 years minimum of professional nanny experience with infants and toddlers
  • Prior long-term nanny position
  • Solid understanding of age-appropriate milestones and child development
  • Flexible to work additional hours with prior communication
  • Available Mon-Fri from 8a-6p
  • Infant CPR certification
  • Valid Driver’s License and reliable vehicle
  • Comfortable driving child to activities and appointments in personal vehicle (car seat provided)
  • Okay to work in a home with a cat
  • Willing to work when child is mildly ill
  • Excellent professional references

  • Bilingual (Spanish/English)
  • Enjoy cooking and healthy meal prepping
  • Musical interests and willingness to expose the baby to music early on
  • Strong household management skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide full-time care for an infant (starting at approximately 6 weeks old)
  • Support feeding routines, developmental milestones, and soothing/nap routines
  • Engage in enrichment activities/classes and outdoor time
  • Ensure safety with attentive care
  • Drive child to daycare (in the future) and appointments
  • Manage children’s laundry and maintain tidy child-related spaces
  • Handle grocery shopping and pantry restocking
  • Perform simple meal prep, dishes, and maintain kitchen cleanliness after meal prep
  • Wash bottles and pump parts as needed
  • Provide sleep training and potty-training (in the future)
  • Take initiative in supporting household flow and organization
  • Communicate openly with parents
