Infant Nanny for a Family in Mableton

About The Position

A family in Mableton is seeking an experienced and nurturing Infant Nanny to provide attentive care and support during their child's early developmental years. The ideal candidate will be passionate about infant development and confident supporting milestones such as rolling over, sensory exploration, tummy time, language development, and establishing healthy sleep routines. Daily responsibilities will include following the child's feeding and sleep schedule, engaging in reading, narration, singing, dancing, walks, and age-appropriate developmental activities. The family is looking for a nanny who can grow with their child over the years and eventually transition into caring for a toddler. Mom works from home and values a proactive caregiver who can provide guidance, work collaboratively with parents, and help create a positive, enriching environment where their child can thrive. In addition to childcare, responsibilities will include washing and sanitizing bottles, baby laundry, stocking diapers and supplies, emptying diaper pails, unloading the dishwasher, and maintaining child-related organization and cleanliness. Light meal preparation, light housekeeping, and occasional errands are appreciated but not deal breakers. The family values strong communication, flexibility, and a family-oriented mindset, as extended family members are actively involved and frequently visit. They are seeking a professional who is energetic, engaging, proactive, and comfortable adapting to the evolving needs of a growing family. Candidates should be up to date on TDAP and flu vaccinations, have a clean driving record, and a second language would be considered a wonderful bonus. The family hopes to have their nanny in place by mid-July, with an earlier start date preferred.
