About The Position

STV is seeking an Industry Engagement Strategist to lead the firm’s approach to conferences, sponsorships, memberships, speaking opportunities, and strategic industry relationships. The position is hybrid, with three days per week in the office, and is based in STV’s New York, NY office. As part of the Communications team, the strategist works closely with business leaders, Sales, Marketing, and Business Development to ensure industry engagements support business priorities, strengthen STV’s reputation, and create opportunities for visibility, relationships, and growth. The role manages speaking opportunities and executive visibility, coordinates conference and sponsorship activation, oversees memberships and association relationships, tracks budgets and promotional inventory, and establishes measurement and reporting practices to assess value and guide future investment. Success is measured by stronger alignment between industry engagement and business and reputation priorities; disciplined investment decisions; reliable management of memberships and association relationships; coordinated planning and clear funding ownership; stronger use of sponsorship and membership benefits; increased visibility for leaders and subject matter experts; documented business follow-through; and clearer evidence of which investments create value. Travel for selected conferences, meetings, and events may be required.
