About The Position
The University of Arkansas System is seeking an Industrial Technology Instructor for Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas (PCCUA). This is a Faculty - Non-Tenure, Regular, Full-Time position within the Workforce Training Department. PCCUA is a multi-campus, two-year college serving Eastern Arkansas, offering academic, occupational/technical, and continuing education programs. The instructor will be responsible for the development and delivery of manufacturing/processing credit and non-credit training programs.
Requirements
- Able to work a flexible schedule that may include evening and weekends.
- Strong organizational, computer, and interpersonal skills are a must.
- Persons must have proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial technology or engineering technology is preferred.
- Prior teaching or training experience preferred.
- Industry maintenance certification a plus.
Responsibilities
- Development and delivery of manufacturing/processing credit and non-credit training programs that may include plant automation, mechanical systems maintenance, industrial safety, pump maintenance, hydraulics/pneumatics, welding, industrial electricity, industrial supervision, programmable logic controllers, etc.
- Performs other related responsibilities as required.
