Requirements
- HS Diploma/Degree required
- Five years of trade or apprenticeship experience required
- HVAC or related journeyman status and/or an Associate's or Bachelor's in HVAC/R or specialized certifications in the field of study.
- Can effectively communicate with multifaceted student populations
- You have strong organizational skills.
Nice To Haves
- 10–hour OSHA certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective instruction in various automotive and transportation courses while demonstrating effective communication skills.
- Foster an inclusive and collaborative learning environment that meets the needs of our student body.
- Implement innovative teaching methodologies and integrate technology to enhance the learning experience.
- Contribute to curriculum development and assessment activities.
- Provide academic advisement and support to students.
- Assist with department activities to promote the success of Stark State College.
- Check college email regularly and participate in required training.
