About The Position

LDF Sales & Distributing, Inc. is a wholesale beverage distributor in Tulsa, Oklahoma seeking a skilled, self-motivated 1099 contract worker to repair heavy-duty canvas tarps used in the transportation and retail delivery of beverages. The contractor will work remotely on a self-paced schedule, operating their own industrial-grade equipment to complete repairs. Collaboration with LDF Sales & Distributing will occur on a bi-weekly basis. The pay rate is $45.00 per piece/tarp, with drop-off/pick-up available at LDF Sales & Distributing, Inc. Wichita & Tulsa locations.

Requirements

• Must own a heavy-duty industrial sewing machine capable of stitching heavy materials, canvas, and nylon.
• Proven experience operating industrial sewing machines.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Manual dexterity.
• Ability to accurately read measurements and use hand tools.

Nice To Haves

• Fabricator or similar sewing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy-duty industrial sewing machines to sew, patch, hem, and repair tarps to exact specifications.
• Measure, cut, and install grommets, D-rings, webbing, and reinforcement patches.
• Perform thorough inspections on finished products to ensure durability and design accuracy.
• Supply necessary hardware and materials (e.g., thread, D-rings, ribbon, straps, Velcro) available in the marketplace.
• Complete tarps within a bi-weekly timeframe.
