We are looking for an Industrial and Systems Engineer who thrives in fast‑paced environments and wants hands‑on impact through continuous improvement initiatives nationwide. You must live in a location with convenient access to a major airport, as this requires approximately 75% travel. You must also be located within a reasonable distance of any McLane location, allowing you to work from a Distribution Center during weeks when travel is not required. Preferred locations include Atlanta, GA; Fredericksburg, VA; and Salt Lake City, UT.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering preferred
  • Other applicable engineering degrees considered
  • Experience with time studies and continuous improvement methods
  • Labor Management, MOST, and engineered standards experience
  • Working knowledge of Oracle SQL and Microsoft Office 365
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with confidence presenting to leaders
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Manhattan WMOS, Manhattan Active, or Blue Yonder preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead time studies and labor optimization efforts
  • Analyze operational data and identify improvement opportunities
  • Support Labor Management Systems and engineered standards
  • Partner with site leadership to implement sustainable solutions
  • Present improvement recommendations to leadership
  • Travel up to 75% to support field operations
