The Grow Our Own (GO2) â€“ Industrial Sales Account Manager Trainee program is a 12-month development program designed for recent graduates and early career individuals interested in starting a career in industrial sales. Upon completion of the program, trainees will transition into a full-time outside sales/account manager role in an assigned territory (Minneapolis, MN).

Requirements

Associate degree or technical training and 2 years of experience in a related field OR bachelorâ€™s degree, preferably in Supply Chain, Sales, in Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to be outgoing, friendly, approachable to build relationships with peers and potential customers with a commitment to delivering top results in a performance-based environment.

Nice To Haves

Internship or co-op experience in a sales/distribution or manufacturing environment or individuals with mechanical interest/aptitude preferred.

Responsibilities

Participate in structured training at our headquarters where you will receive ongoing mentorship, professional development, and in-depth product training.
Learn full cycle outside sales skills and build relationships with new and existing customers to solve real-world customer problems through technical and product solutions.
Work alongside experienced Account Managers on joint sales calls visiting customers on-site.
Ability to relocate to Addison, IL for 12 months of training at our corporate headquarters.
