This role focuses on the full lifecycle of rotating equipment service, including assessment, teardown, inspection, rebuild, and reassembly for horizontal and vertical pumps. The specialist will apply blueprint and schematic interpretation to plan and execute accurate assembly and disassembly, operate various tool sets, and measure precisely using inspection tools to verify tolerances. The role also involves rigging, lifting, and staging components using overhead cranes and forklifts, ensuring work meets tight standards and exact specifications.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
7+ years in pump mechanics or an equivalent rotating equipment rebuild role
Proficiency with hand and power tools (including impact guns)
Overhead crane and forklift experience
Fluent with inspection tooling and documentation
Strong written and verbal communication
Manual dexterity, control precision, critical thinking, and deductive reasoning
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Own the full lifecycle of rotating equipment service: assessment, teardown, inspection, rebuild, and reassembly for horizontal and vertical pumps
Apply blueprint/schematic interpretation to plan and execute accurate assembly and disassembly
Operate manual, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electric tool sets
Measure precisely using M&TE (micrometers, calipers, gauges) to verify tolerances
Rig, lift, and stage components via overhead crane and fork trucks
Deliver work that meets tight standards and exact specifications
