As the Industrial Project Manager at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility, you will stand at the epicenter of vital defense manufacturing, serving as the definitive catalyst for asset reliability and mission readiness. In this Hawaii-based leadership role, you will take full ownership of on-site equipment maintenance operations—orchestrating complex preventive maintenance, precision calibrations, and rapid repair initiatives. By challenging operational friction and streamlining technical workflows, you will turn critical maintenance requirements into seamless execution, ensuring zero-compromise asset availability. This position calls for a strategic communicator and proactive problem-solver who bridges high-level government coordination with boots-on-the-ground operational discipline. Serving as the primary nexus between the TPOC, COR, production shops, field technicians, and specialized subcontractors, you will drive flawless schedule integration by planning service windows at least 45 days in advance and negotiating equipment downtime to safeguard active shipyard production. From navigating Controlled Industrial Area security protocols and diagnostic tool approvals to leading daily alignment meetings with the PHNSY&IMF maintenance work center, your leadership will set a standard of total transparency, safety compliance, and operational momentum. As a relentless advocate for continuous improvement, you will manage end-to-end service delivery, tracking every component, deficiency, and material requirement with uncompromising accuracy. You will lead the rigorous implementation of the contract Quality Assurance Plan, ensuring every diagnostic report, calibration record, and Certificate of Completion reflects total precision and strict regulatory compliance. Requirements

  • Must reside in Hawaii, preferably on Oahu, and be available for on-site support at Pearl Harbor.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and able to pass a background investigation.
  • Strong scheduling, vendor coordination, documentation, and customer communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing industrial maintenance, manufacturing, shipyard, defense, or Federal Government service contracts preferred.
  • Familiarity with CNC machinery, industrial plant equipment, preventive maintenance, and calibration services is preferred.
