About The Position

As the Industrial Project Manager at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility, you will lead on-site equipment maintenance operations, including complex preventive maintenance, precision calibrations, and rapid repair initiatives. This role involves challenging operational friction, streamlining technical workflows, and ensuring asset reliability and mission readiness for defense manufacturing. You will serve as the primary liaison between government representatives, production shops, field technicians, and subcontractors, driving schedule integration by planning service windows in advance and negotiating equipment downtime. Responsibilities include managing security protocols, diagnostic tool approvals, and daily alignment meetings. You will also manage end-to-end service delivery, track components and deficiencies, and lead the implementation of the contract Quality Assurance Plan to ensure regulatory compliance.

Requirements

  • Must reside in Hawaii, preferably on Oahu.
  • Must be available for on-site support at Pearl Harbor.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must be able to pass a background investigation.
  • Strong scheduling skills.
  • Strong vendor coordination skills.
  • Strong documentation skills.
  • Strong customer communication skills.
  • Must be available during the standard work schedule of 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
  • Must have flexibility for nights or weekends when production schedules require it.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing industrial maintenance, manufacturing, shipyard, defense, or Federal Government service contracts is preferred.
  • Familiarity with CNC machinery is preferred.
  • Familiarity with industrial plant equipment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance is preferred.
  • Familiarity with calibration services is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead on-site equipment maintenance operations, including preventive maintenance, calibrations, and repairs.
  • Orchestrate complex preventive maintenance, precision calibrations, and rapid repair initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary nexus between the TPOC, COR, production shops, field technicians, and specialized subcontractors.
  • Drive flawless schedule integration by planning service windows at least 45 days in advance.
  • Negotiate equipment downtime to safeguard active shipyard production.
  • Navigate Controlled Industrial Area security protocols and diagnostic tool approvals.
  • Lead daily alignment meetings with the PHNSY&IMF maintenance work center.
  • Manage end-to-end service delivery, tracking every component, deficiency, and material requirement.
  • Lead the rigorous implementation of the contract Quality Assurance Plan.
  • Ensure every diagnostic report, calibration record, and Certificate of Completion reflects total precision and strict regulatory compliance.
