Under general supervision, this role involves the layout, design, installation, assembly, fabrication, maintenance, testing, and repair of pipes and fittings for mechanical utility piping systems and chillers. This includes systems for hot water, chilled water, steam, compressed air, sewer, chemicals, fuel oil, gasses, and other related systems, all in compliance with local and state codes. The position requires reading and understanding system prints and schematics. Additionally, the role necessitates working in confined spaces, moving up and down ladders, and working from ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lift platforms. The job also includes operating fork trucks for material movement and unloading deliveries, using the CMMS work order system, and accessing the Building Management System for HVAC adjustments.
