Industrial Paint Prep Technicians prepare metal parts and components before they move into the painting process. This hands-on production role includes cleaning, sanding, masking, plugging, and inspecting parts, as well as moving and hanging parts, removing excess water or debris, and checking finished pieces for quality. Previous manufacturing or paint experience is helpful but not required; the role may suit candidates with experience in general labor, automotive work, body shop preparation, warehouse work, painting, or other hands-on environments. This is a full-time, direct-hire position on 2nd shift, paying $19–$21 per hour based on experience. It offers an entry-level opportunity to learn industrial paint preparation and manufacturing, perform varied work throughout the paint process, and grow over time.
