Industrial Paint Prep Technicians prepare metal parts and components before they enter the painting process. This hands-on production role includes cleaning, sanding, masking, plugging, and inspecting parts, as well as moving and hanging parts, removing excess water or debris, and checking finished pieces for quality. Previous manufacturing or paint experience is helpful but not required; relevant experience may include general labor, automotive work, body shop preparation, warehouse work, or other hands-on environments. This is an entry-level-friendly, full-time, direct-hire position with opportunities to learn industrial paint preparation and manufacturing skills and room to grow. The position is on 2nd shift and pays $19–$21 per hour, based on experience.
