About The Position
Industrial Mechanics are responsible to ensure the safe and correct operation of all equipment through preventative and proactive maintenance procedures. This is a fast paced and physically demanding position that makes our job a vital part of keeping the Distribution Center operational and product flow coming in and moving out. Our job is primarily an indoor responsibility, but there will be times that you will be required to work outdoors.
Requirements
- Safe and correct operation of all equipment through preventative and proactive maintenance procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast paced and physically demanding environment.
- Willingness to work outdoors at times.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
- Ability to proactively identify and repair faulty equipment.
- Collaborative work style to work with other Industrial Mechanics.
- Skill in tracking and maintaining a log of daily work completed.
Responsibilities
- Completion of scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
- Proactively identify and repair any faulty equipment.
- Work with other Industrial Mechanics to be the most efficient and make the most effective decision on repairs.
- Track and maintain a log of daily work completed
