About The Position

Seneca Foods in Janesville, WI is currently seeking an Industrial Mechanic to join our team. This role involves performing assigned mechanical job duties to maintain and repair building and food processing equipment. The mechanic will complete repairs during the processing season to meet production goals, inspect, repair, and maintain machinery and equipment throughout the facility, and troubleshoot, repair, and replace machinery as required. Additionally, the role includes maintaining accurate records of work performed and preventative maintenance completed, monitoring equipment operation and making necessary adjustments, and requesting parts and supplies for assigned projects.

Responsibilities

Assigned mechanical job duties to maintain and repair building and food processing equipment.
Complete repairs during the processing season to meet production goals.
Inspect, repair and maintain machinery, and equipment throughtout the facility.

Maintain accurate records of work performed and PM completed.
