About The Position
TotalRecycle, Inc. is a groundbreaking, state-of-the-art single stream recycle facility that advances our steadfast commitment to a greener environment. TotalRecycle contains cutting-edge technology that allows for the precise sorting and processing of recyclable materials. Situated on a 14-acre site in Berk’s County, this 75,000 square foot facility accepts all items capable of being recycled. TotalRecycle is the only facility of this magnitude in the area. With its beautiful infrastructure, the complex looks more like a resort than a recycling plant. Our Total Recycle Division, located in Birdsboro, PA is currently searching for an Industrial Millwright Mechanic!
Requirements
- Knowledge in the safe operation of all garage tools, diagnostic equipment, lifts, hoists and jacking equipment
- Thorough and broad understanding of a variety of equipment
- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Thorough understanding of safety practices, guidelines & rules
Nice To Haves
- A Commercial Driving License (A or B)
Responsibilities
- Ensure proper operation of large industrial equipment
- Use hand tools, and power tools, measuring instruments and lifting devices, jacks, hoist etc.
- Ensure machines perform to specifications by conducting tests; modifies and fine tunes machines
- Disassemble or dismantles machines to perform repairs
- Troubleshoot and repairs machines as required for safe operation
- Perform preventive maintenance
- Ability to weld a plus
- Electrical Experience a plus
- Perform other related duties as assigned
