About The Position

We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our growing team as Industrial Mechanic (Millwrights) in Timmins, Ontario. Multiple positions are available, and we are actively hiring to support the continued success of our operations.

Requirements

Valid Industrial Mechanic Millwright license required
Experience with repairs, overhauls, installations, dismantling, modifying, replacing, adjusting, testing, lubricating, and maintaining all types of plant and mine equipment and tools
Strong diagnostic skills to troubleshoot and repair equipment
Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Committed to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment
Willingness to work at any of the underground mine sites Technica operates

Nice To Haves

Welding and fabrication experience is an asset

Responsibilities

Installing, troubleshooting, dismantling, reassembling, overhauling, and repairing machinery and equipment according to layout plans
Operating hoisting and lifting devices, such as cranes, to position machinery and parts during installation, set-up, and repair of equipment
Performing scheduled, emergency, and preventative maintenance in the shop, plant, field, and underground
Following daily line-ups and executing scheduled work in accordance with health and safety standards and manufacturer specifications
