Industrial Mechanic/Millwright Helper
About The Position
The Co-op Refinery Complex (CRC) is hiring a Helper for Industrial Mechanics/Millwrights on a permanent basis on our Maintenance & Reliability team. This position requires on-site work and is based in Regina, SK. The key role of this position is to efficiently carry out Trade duties in the Mechanic Trade section and perform other duties as assigned of a comparable or lesser degree of responsivity. Duties include, but are not limited to: The maintenance and repair of compressors, pumps and other rotating equipment, as well as mobile equipment, trucks and high-speed packaging equipment. Other duties as required.
Requirements
- Completion of Grade XII including Chemistry 30, Physics 30, and Math/Algebra 30 (or completion within a prescribed time period)
- Superior mechanical aptitude
- Physical capability to perform heavy work associated with the position
- Demonstrated ability in the performance of semi-skilled maintenance work
- Must follow the CCRL “Work-Safe” Approach
Nice To Haves
- Undertake applicable trades training courses to qualify for advancement
