About The Position

Responsible for preventive maintenance and repairs to equipment from Stork Cut Up Lines through packing lines. Primary tasks are performing preventive maintenance on assigned equipment on a weekly basis, rebuilding equipment as determined necessary by supervision, facility repairs within area, machine adjustments during production periods and repairing equipment as necessary in the event of mechanical failure. Other responsibilities include monitoring equipment performance, documenting corrections made to equipment, filling out requisitions/or communicating to supervision parts required and not in inventory; obtaining parts from supply, cleaning area after repair or PM occurs.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of mechanic work experience documented in the work history section of the application or be a graduated and/or student of an industrial maintenance training program (can be a combination of employers as long as experience is at least 6 months)
• Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
