About The Position
As a Utility Technician, you will promote workplace efficiency and profitability by assisting with the maintenance, inspection and repair of facility, equipment and machinery.

- Basic mechanical aptitude
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair equipment and machinery
- Monitor equipment and machinery, stocking, changing and filling as needed
- Complete daily cleaning checklist for all equipment and machinery
- Perform diagnostics and troubleshoot equipment and machinery
- Monitor baler status and create bales, as needed
- Assist with clearing jams on conveyor lines with use of power equipment
- Operate power equipment to unload, move and load product and bales
- Operate and maintain battery changer and water for batteries
- Remove trash and recycling materials
- Paint, change light bulbs and work on the processing floor, as needed
- Fill part requests for Maintenance Technicians
- Assist on repairs, preventative maintenance and completion of minor projects
- Replace rollers and clean labels in all areas including but not limited to P&A machines, guide rails and floors
