About The Position
Step into a day (and night) of impact On second or third shift, you’ll be the go-to expert keeping a high-volume manufacturing operation running at its best. You’ll combine hands-on mechanical skill with sharp troubleshooting to prevent issues before they start—and solve them fast when they do.
Requirements
- Strong heavy mechanical background in an industrial or manufacturing setting
- Hands-on experience with industrial production machinery
- Proven mechanical troubleshooting and repair capability
- Ability to work independently on 2nd or 3rd shift
Nice To Haves
- Prior union manufacturing experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Own preventative and predictive maintenance across production equipment to maximize uptime
- Diagnose, repair, and rebuild mechanical systems: conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pumps, and hydraulics
- Pinpoint root causes of mechanical failures and drive quick, safe resolutions
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and OEM manuals to plan and execute work
- Champion safety and quality standards in every task
- Partner closely with production and fellow maintenance teammates to coordinate repairs and PMs
