About The Position

At MVS Metals, we run a fast-paced manufacturing operation — and we need a Maintenance Technician who takes pride in keeping equipment and facilities performing at their best. This is a hands-on, high-impact role on a 4-day work week, where your skills directly determine whether production runs smoothly or grinds to a halt. If you're a proactive problem-solver with solid mechanical and electrical knowledge and a track record of getting things fixed right the first time — we want to hear from you.

Requirements

Proven maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Working knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, hands-on approach
Reliable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented
Team player with solid communication skills — you work well with production staff and management alike
Self-starter who doesn't wait to be told what needs attention

Responsibilities

Perform and track preventive maintenance to keep equipment and facilities running safely and efficiently
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues quickly to minimize production downtime
Work closely with production management to schedule and coordinate repairs without disrupting operations
Train and support operators on proper equipment use and safe practices
Assist with capital projects, new equipment installations, and continuous improvement initiatives
Identify and implement improvements to boost efficiency and reduce costs
