About The Position

We’re hiring an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to support a stable, high-volume manufacturing operation in the Chattanooga, TN area. This is a strong opportunity for a well-rounded maintenance technician who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, working independently, and taking ownership of keeping production running. You’ll be the primary maintenance technician supporting the shift, so we’re looking for someone who can diagnose problems, make sound decisions, and communicate effectively with production leadership.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting ability
• Working knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics
• Comfortable troubleshooting industrial electrical systems and control voltages
• Ability to read electrical schematics, diagrams, manuals, and technical documentation
• Able to work independently without another maintenance technician constantly available on the shift
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with production supervisors and operators
• Proactive, dependable, and comfortable taking ownership of problems through resolution

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial production machinery and equipment
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and controls-related issues
• Troubleshoot single- and three-phase electrical systems, including 120/208/240/480 VAC and 24 VDC controls
• Maintain and repair conveyors, motors, gearboxes, servo motors, production equipment, and automated systems
• Support troubleshooting of industrial robotics, PLC-controlled equipment, and vision systems
• Perform preventive maintenance and identify potential equipment failures before they cause downtime
• Conduct root-cause troubleshooting on recurring equipment problems
• Complete general facility and building maintenance as needed
• Document repairs and maintenance activity accurately
• Work closely with the 2nd-shift supervisor and production team to prioritize maintenance needs
