Industrial Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift

Carlson Tool & Manufacturing is seeking an experienced Machine Tool Maintenance Technician with a knack for CNC machine service on a wide variety of precision manufacturing equipment. There is no traveling involved as our 100+ machine tool fleet is all in-house at our three adjacent plants in Cedarburg, WI. Here, your role is highly respected, valued, and dynamic. Requirements
- Experience in CNC Machine Repair - Required
- Mechanical maintenance skills in complex machinery, PLCs, fabrication, equipment repair and building repair
- Strong troubleshooting abilities, organizational skills, and effective communication
- Solid computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook)
- The ability to work independently, analyze problems and determine best solutions
Nice To Haves
- Education in Industrial Maintenance or a related field
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair CNC machines, support equipment and structural systems
- Perform visual inspections of machinery and equipment, run diagnostics, and perform testing with precision instruments including electrical and electronic test equipment
- Follow blueprints and specifications, using precision measuring instruments and hand tools
- Operate forklifts
- Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized
