About The Position

The Industrial Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in minimizing downtime, preventing breakdowns, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our manufacturing processes. Background in injection molding, extrusion and blown film preferred but not required.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, preventative maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLC systems.
  • Working knowledge of 480V 3-phase power.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to safety protocols.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various positions.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in injection molding, extrusion and blown film preferred but not required
  • Additional technical education or certifications in industrial maintenance are a plus.
  • Experience with 5S
  • CMMS experience is a plus!

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on industrial machinery and equipment, including inspections, lubrication, and adjustments.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to identify root causes of equipment malfunctions.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance programs to extend the lifespan of machinery and reduce the risk of unplanned downtime.
  • Collaborate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities without disrupting production schedules.
  • Install, repair, and maintain industrial equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Document all maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and replacements, to maintain accurate records.
  • Keep abreast of technological advancements in industrial maintenance and recommend upgrades or modifications to improve equipment performance.
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and work efficiently to minimize production disruptions.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and stay informed about industry best practices.
  • Perform minor repairs to offices and the facility, including changing light bulbs and air filters, light painting, and construction projects. Move office furniture when required.
  • Wear and maintain assigned PPE.
