About The Position

Brown-Forman is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to ensure the smooth operation of their distillery and bottling facilities. This role involves maintaining and troubleshooting mechanical and hydraulic systems, performing preventive maintenance, and making equipment modifications.

Requirements

3+ years of experience as a mechanic/machinist in process manufacturing.
Proficiency in maintaining and troubleshooting pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Skills in machine shop equipment, welding techniques, and metal fabrication.
Ability to thread and install various types of pipes.
Computer savvy.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to lift and carry 80 pounds.
Commitment to safety, including the use of PPE and adherence to LOTO procedures.
Must be 21+ and ready to pass necessary screenings and tests.

Nice To Haves

Expertise in welding (Shielded metal, Arc, Oxyacetylene, Heliarc, and Mig).
Experience with packaging line and material handling equipment repairs.
Proficiency in operating forklifts, man lifts, and other machinery.
Ability to operate lathes, milling machines, and grinders to precise specifications.
Knowledge of steam systems, pumps, motors, valves, and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

Maintain and troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and equipment modifications.
Thread and install various types of pipes.
Keep up with the digital side of maintenance using computer systems.
