About The Position

Viwinco is hiring an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for the second shift. The role repairs automated production equipment, including PLC-controlled and window-base equipment, and requires electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical experience. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.; overtime and weekends may be required as needed. A flexible shift schedule is preferred.

Requirements

Experience repairing automated production equipment, including PLC-controlled and window-base equipment.
Electrical background and pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical experience.
Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Good communication skills.
Organization and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, stressful environment.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines.
Clean machines and machine parts, removing and reinstalling parts as necessary.
Oil and lubricate machine components to support effective performance.
Record and report damaged, worn, or broken parts.
Order and install replacement machine parts.
Identify causes of unexpected machine breakdowns.
Repair broken machines quickly and efficiently.
Prepare reports documenting work performed.
Maintain shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies by cleaning, organizing, inventorying, and stocking them.
Coordinate with managers to schedule regular machine maintenance.
Collaborate with the product manager or plant engineer on new products and required equipment modifications.
Make necessary modifications, conduct test runs, review results with the product manager, and make further machinery alterations as needed.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
