About The Position

The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing minor building maintenance, including lighting, plumbing, and HVAC systems. This role requires maintaining logs of all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used. The technician must also ensure compliance with all safety protocols, including OSHA, USDA, state, and company regulations, such as lockout/tagout procedures. The position involves working in a plant setting with moderate noise levels and requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift up to 50-75 lbs, work in cold (30°F or lower) and wet environments, and climb ladders or work at heights.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex systems
• Familiarity with PLCs, servo motors, and industrial tools
• Clear reporting and coordination with supervisors and production teams
• Ability to read and write in English

Nice To Haves

• Vocational training or technical certifications
• 1–3 years in industrial or food-grade maintenance preferred
