This role is for an Industrial Maintenance Technician who will utilize electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic skills to perform precision machine installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. The technician will provide updates using CMMS and inventory tracking systems, complete preventive and planned maintenance tasks using O&M manuals and schematics, and use sophisticated measuring instruments for precision machine alignments. They will also utilize analysis tools like oil sampling, vibration analysis, and thermal imaging to predict equipment failures and generate work requests for predictive maintenance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Industrial Maintenance Technician experience.
  • Knowledge of machine design and operation.
  • Ability to read part manuals, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical schematics, assembly instructions and troubleshooting guides.
  • Demonstrated high degree of industrial mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic repair abilities.
  • Knowledge of and experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and basic electrical test equipment.
  • Ability to safely operate powered industrial vehicles such as forklifts, side-by-sides, etc.
  • Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability, motivation, and willingness to maintain current and develop new skills.
  • Work safely and effectively in a team environment, as well as with minimal supervision.
  • Basic Office computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Must be fluent in English, with strong speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension skills.
  • US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa.
  • Successful candidates will need to satisfactorily complete pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Nice To Haves

  • Electrical installation, troubleshooting, and repair experience.
  • Demonstrated ability and/or knowledge of welding, machining, milling, cutting, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Mechanical repair of CNC Machinery, Manual Machines, Robotics, and Machining Center.
  • Mechanical repair of general facilities equipment such as cascade coolers, air compressors, HVAC equipment, etc.
  • Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machine tool mechanical equipment.
  • Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
  • Use machine tool manuals, technical documents, and internal and vendor resources to research machine issues.
  • Print reading and interpretation to include mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, basic electrical.
  • Properly use precision measuring tools for checking, verifying, and correcting machine alignments.
  • Perform machine alignments (conventional, laser, and electronic, etc.).
  • Identify types of common pumps and distinguish their application, troubleshooting and repairing procedures.
  • Provide daily reports and status updates.
  • Utilize CMMS system for generating and tracking daily activities.
  • Complete planned and preventative maintenance procedures.
  • Use safe rigging practices.
  • Work based on a sense of urgency with machine down conditions.
