Industrial Maintenance Supervisor ($100k+/yr)
About The Position
Ecobat's Industrial Maintenance Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of manufacturing and production equipment within our Indianapolis facility. This position is responsible for overseeing maintenance teams, coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance activities, and implementing strategies to minimize downtime and extend equipment life. The supervisor will lead efforts to troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. By managing resources effectively and fostering a culture of proactive maintenance, this role directly contributes to operational excellence and cost control. Ultimately, the Industrial Maintenance Supervisor ensures that all maintenance operations align with organizational goals, supporting production targets and overall business success.
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
- At least 5 years of supervisory experience, with a proven track record of managing teams effectively.
- Proficiency in computer applications relevant to maintenance management and reporting.
- Familiarity with maintenance management software.
- Ability to analyze data and generate reports.

Responsibilities
- Directs workers engaged in performing structural repairs to physical plant, and the repair of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic machinery and equipment.
- Directs workers in the dismantling, assembly, and installation of industrial machinery and production equipment.
- Assists workers in the diagnosis and repair and calibration of machinery and production equipment.
- Requisitions tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Provides specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers and assigns duties.
- Inspects completed work for conformance with blueprints, specifications, and standards.
- Reviews production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignments.
- Maintains time and production records.
- Initiates plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
- Responsible for ensuring work orders and/or PM are completed correctly with accurate information and closed in a timely manner.
- Communicates company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
- Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency.
- Complies with all environmental, health, safety and housekeeping programs.
- Other duties, as assigned.
