Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must pass pre-employment skills assessment
- Must be willing to work overtime as needed
- Must understand OSHA mechanical safety requirements and machine guarding
- Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems required
Nice To Haves
- 2-year technical degree in Mechanical Technology preferred
- State-certified Machinist or Millwright Journeyman certification preferred
- Electrical troubleshooting knowledge is a plus
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with: Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Welding, Precision machining, Industrial maintenance
Responsibilities
- Perform precision machining, tool repair, and equipment maintenance
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery and production equipment
- Distinguish between electrical and mechanical issues and perform basic electrical repairs
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, detail prints, assembly drawings, and specifications
- Operate machining equipment including: Lathes, Milling machines, Drill presses, Grinding machines
- Use precision measuring instruments including: Calipers, Micrometers, Comparators, Surface plates
- Perform fabrication, welding, brazing, soldering, and burning operations
- Machine parts to precision tolerances and specified finishes
- Repair and maintain pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and facility equipment
- Repair air compressors and replace filters
- Assemble, align, and adjust tooling and die components
- Operate forklifts, cranes, and lifting devices safely
- Complete maintenance documentation and data entry
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
