  • Proficiency with basic digital tools including documentation platforms and learning management systems.
  • Hands-on experience in industrial electrical systems, motor controls, or general maintenance technology.
  • Ability to teach from foundational concepts through applied lab work, this is not an advanced-only role.
  • Comfortable working with adult learners who have no formal technical training background.
  • NFPA 70E and OSHA 10 certification.

  • Enforce all safety protocols without exception. PPE, OSHA compliance, and lab conduct standards are non-negotiable.
  • Reset the lab at the conclusion of each cohort to full operational condition.
  • Maintain the lab to a standard that reflects professional pride, not minimum compliance.
  • Hold students to the standard the program requires.
  • Create a learning environment that is structured, respectful, and demanding.
  • Manage classroom and lab conduct consistently. Address disruption or disengagement directly and professionally.
  • Provide students with clear, actionable feedback throughout the program, not only at formal evaluation points.

  • Deliver technician basics including hand and power tools, math fundamentals, metric system and measurement, fasteners and torque specifications, and introduction to maintenance technician responsibilities.
  • Deliver electrical theory curriculum including nature of electricity, circuit analysis, AC fundamentals, capacitors, and introductory print reading. Students must learn to use a multimeter confidently.
  • Conduct electrical labs including wire stripping, electrical device wiring and testing, DMM functions, Romex wiring, and receptacle lab projects. Lab execution must be safe, structured, and hands-on for every student.
  • Deliver motors and generators content including motor theory, induction and DC motors, motor nameplate interpretation, and common failure symptoms and troubleshooting.
  • Deliver circuit protection content including circuit breakers, industrial fuses, overcurrent protection, and fault identification; short circuits, overloads, and ground faults.
  • Conduct electrical labs including switching and controls wiring, capacitor wiring lab, and electrical troubleshooting labs.
  • Deliver introductory hydraulics and pneumatics content with emphasis on system understanding, component identification, and basic troubleshooting.
