About The Position

Mister Car Wash is a rapidly growing company in the car wash industry, seeking skilled technicians to maintain their equipment. As a Maintenance Technician I, you will be part of a team responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of car wash sites. This role offers opportunities for skill development, ownership of work, and contributing to a positive customer experience. The schedule is flexible, with 5 days of work per week and any 2 days off besides Monday and Wednesday. The shift hours are from 12:30 PM to 10:00 PM, and the starting pay is $26.00 per hour.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in industrial or production maintenance (breakdown experience preferred).
  • Electrical experience, including exposure to 3-phase high-voltage systems, low-voltage systems, AC/DC electrical systems, control wiring, and powered equipment.
  • Solid skills in at least four of the following areas: Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulics, Welding, Pneumatics, Plumbing.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and respond quickly in fast-paced environments.
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and on-call hours.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Physical capability to perform the job (lift up to 75 lbs., bend, crawl, and climb ladders).
  • A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required upon hire).

Nice To Haves

  • VFD and PLC troubleshooting experience.

Responsibilities

  • Apply electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, plumbing, pneumatic, and troubleshooting skills to maintain equipment performance.
  • Perform installation, preventative maintenance, and repairs on industrial car wash equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair low- and high-voltage electrical systems, including control wiring and 3-phase power.
  • Travel within the assigned market in a company-provided vehicle to complete scheduled maintenance and respond to urgent repairs.
  • Minimize downtime by responding quickly to breakdowns and equipment failures.
  • Collaborate with regional teams on new equipment installations and technology rollouts.
  • Build strong relationships with teammates who rely on technical expertise.
  • Maintain safe, efficient, and fully operational locations.
  • Utilize travel opportunities to gain exposure to new equipment, emerging technology, and best practices across multiple locations, accelerating technical growth and industry knowledge.
