About The Position

Hayward Holdings Inc. is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components. This role requires strong electrical knowledge, multi-craft experience, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The electrician will collaborate with engineers and maintenance staff to ensure the reliability and safety of electrical systems, assist with problem-solving, and provide training. The position is based in Nashville, TN.

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of electrical components as well as electrical safety codes and regulations.
  • Professional, technical, and mechanically proficient.
  • Ability to crawl, climb and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to operate tools in close proximity to electrical components.
  • Ability to understand and make decisions based on technical documents, such as blueprints, schematics, or instructions.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical components of industrial equipment and facility.
  • Working as a team member or alone to complete Maintenance projects.
  • Making decisions based on technical documents.
  • Awareness of national, state, and local electrical codes and regulations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Motivated self-starter who can manage projects and make decisions.
  • Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and other technical documents.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipment.
  • Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, crawling, etc.
  • Journeyman's or Master Electrician's License, and/or Associate degree (two-year college or technical school) and/or combined education and equivalent work experience.
  • 5 years of electrical/controls experience.
  • Basic PC skills (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • PLC experience, knowledgeable in programming controllers.
  • Specific licenses required, electrical safe practices or Arc Flash certificate, mechanical, valid driver's license, ability to pass Hayward's forklift certification.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment and parts, such as control panels.
  • Work with circuit breaker panels, Buss rail feed systems, Buss plugs, disconnect panels, running conduit and sizing conductor and fuses necessary to power plant equipment.
  • Diagnose electrical problems with production equipment working with fuses, electrical feed sources and control wiring.
  • Communicate with OEM equipment tech support of equipment problems to request technical assistance.
  • Complete electrical installations from 120-460 volts.
  • Troubleshoot electrical circuits.
  • Observe safety procedures and meet National and State electrical codes.
  • Perform quality testing and inspections.
  • Assist with problem solutions and training.
  • Other duties as required.
