About The Position

Poly-America, L.P., a plastics manufacturer producing polyethylene products such as trash bags, construction films, and agricultural films, is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Electrician for its Maintenance Department. The role works as part of a manufacturing maintenance team to maintain equipment to OEM specifications, including safety systems. The electrician inspects, troubleshoots, replaces, and repairs worn or failed parts, and installs electrical upgrades and new or relocated equipment. Additional responsibilities may be assigned by management as needed.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in industrial maintenance electrical work in a manufacturing environment.
• Aptitude and desire to work safely and follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Ability to work from verbal or written instructions and a strong desire to perform hands-on work while following policies and procedures.
• Aptitude and desire to learn Poly-America processes, equipment, and procedures.
• Problem-solving skills, including troubleshooting electrical equipment.
• Working knowledge of OSHA lockout/tagout regulations.
• Knowledge and practical use of basic electrical tools and meters.
• Successful completion of a drug screen is required.
